French courses for families
LIP invites parents and children to learn or improve their French in a fun, relaxed atmosphere in a friendly languages school.
Situated in Vazerac, an authentic and safe village, we cater for anyone aged 12 and above, providing classes at different levels for each member of the family.
This is a chance for families who love learning languages, who have French relatives, and want to make the most out of trips to French-speaking countries to enjoy a productive holiday.
Learning for everyone
This programme offers something for every member of the family. Since all lessons take place at the same time, parents can drop their children off before their adult class, see them during the breaks, and pick them up from the same building when the classes are over.
Leisure Activities
When you have finished with your morning lessons, which last three hours, you can spend the afternoon taking part in a wealth of fun pastimes. If you’re into sport, we offer horse riding and other sporting activities. If you’re a culinary enthusiast, we have French cooking classes and wine tasting for the adults. And if you fancy getting in touch with nature, we offer farm visits and riverboat cruises. There are also art classes and recreational trips to medieval villages for those who are looking for cultural amusement.
The combination of quality French language courses and fun recreational activities offers our students an enjoyable way of learning French or refreshing their skills, while experiencing a wonderful family holiday in an authentic and beautiful area of France.
Eat Local
Learning French is calorie-consumptive, so you will be glad to hear we’ve got your lunch sorted. Please let us know if you would like us to provide your midday meals. There is a local restaurant and we have a kitchen at the school if you would like to make your own eating arrangements.
Our lunches are always taken with the teacher taking your class, and thus provide you with the chance to practise your French in a more informal and conversational setting.
Holiday Homes in Tarn et Garonne
In terms of places to stay during your immersion into the French language, you have three main options:
- Homestay with a French family near our school in Vazerac (14+ only)
- Our holiday cottage above the LIP school premises (sleeps 6 people)
- A local holiday home or gîte (we can help you with your search)

At LIP we always strive to offer our clients a specialised course that caters to their precise needs and wants.
Although we believe that at least 3 hours of lessons a day are necessary to make a significant improvement, and that you may well want to have more, we are more than ready to cater a course to your specific needs.
