French Classes in San Diego
From English to French language center gives you the opportunity to learn French in the heart of San Diego, the second most populated city of California! San Diego is a wonderful tourist location for those who like going to the beach and exploring the desert. Founded in 2002 by Sophie Juster, the school’s main objective is to offer a wide range of French lessons in a warm and friendly environment with highly qualified native teachers
Our Visit
LIP had the great pleasure to visit 'From English to French' in San Diego and to meet three American students with their French teacher Delphine at the language school. We presented our company to them, along with some of the culture surrounding the Vazerac area in Tarn-et-Garonne where our own languages centre is located.
They had great fun rolling the dice and answering the questions we had prepared, using a map with all the information about our region's unique culture (from churches and chapels to the different pigeon-houses through the ford crossing the Avreyron river,...) Their good level of French enabled them to answer very rapidly and the «Les poulpes de Nice» team beat the « Les calamars» team 6 points to 3 !
We finally all shared a well deserved «apéritif» made of red wine from our local Brulhois vineyards, «pâté de campagne» toasted on French baguette slices and a selection of French cheese (comté, mimolette, cow-cheese with nuts and ewe cheese from the Pyrénées Atlantiques !)
